Lexical and grammatical contents

Hello dear readers!



Together with this mythological tale, you will find some lexical, as well as grammatical contents, such as, the present simple (“Where is the meat?”), the past simple (“Loki looked like a god”), the future tense “will”/”would” (“You will have to make a stronger chain.”/ “for a while it seemed that the chain would hold”), and the imperative (“we must find a solution”/ “chain him up”); this will be useful for us to revise all these time tenses in an entertaining way. As for the lexical aspects, we will find some vocabulary linked to fantasy tales, for instance “giants”, “dragons” or “serpent”, all these words will be useful for us if we read a fantasy book in the future and come across them.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS BLOG

Do you know the story of Fenris the Wolf? If your students like legends and myths, I recommend you this blog.

 We are two teachers. Our names are María del Carmen García and Isabel Pérez García. We enjoy having coffees and reading myths and legends.
